The computer department of MKHS GUJARATI GIRLS COLLEGE aims at Nurturing computer graduates and highly-skilled computer programmers who will create and exploit “Knowledge|” for the new era. The department is having specialized faculty members and is achieving academic excellence through innovative, student – teaching and learning methods. It provides an outstanding ICT environment and also works upon development of soft skills, cultivation of social and moral values for the student’s overall development.
- The department was established in the year 1997.
- It was started with the vocational courses at Graduation level for commerce students; gradually it expanded its horizon to include professional courses like BCA & PGDCA.
- There are 4 computer labs with 166 computer systems.
- Labs have 24 hours Internet facility, which can be run on 100 machines simultaneously.
- 3 Scanners, 5 LCD & 10 Printers.
- Library of MKHS Gujarati Girls College has around 3500 different computer titles available.
